Vaginal Rejuvenation (INDIBA)

Vagine Rejuvenation

Over the years, vaginal rejuvenation treatment has been popularised by celebrities and social media influencers.

While vaginal rejuvenation may be associated with the rich and famous, the procedure is not purely for cosmetic purposes. Vaginal rejuvenation treatment is also used to address common medical concerns relating to the vagina.

What is vaginal rejuvenation?

Vaginal rejuvenation is an umbrella term used to refer to many treatments including and not limited to:

  • Clitoral hood reduction

A procedure to reduce the amount of skin around the clitoris.

  • Vaginoplasty

A procedure to repair or construct a vagina.

  • Labiaplasty

A procedure to change the shape and size of the inner lips of the vagina.

  • Vulvoplasty

A procedure to change the shape and size of the outer lips of the vagina.

These treatments can be done for cosmetic reasons or for medical reasons. When it is done for medical reasons, you may be able to claim the cost of surgery from your insurance provider.

How is vaginal rejuvenation carried out?

BMB uses INDIBA ® Deep Care for its vaginal rejuvenation treatments. The technology uses monopolar radiofrequency at a precise frequency of 448 kHz.

The specific frequency has been proven to increase cell metabolism, increase demand for oxygen, nutrients, and amino acids. What this does is that it increases blood supply and hence microcirculation.

The increased blood flow provides energy to the cell, moisturises the tissue, stimulates the fibroblasts, and generates the required collage for reparation of damaged tissue. The whole process does not require raising the temperature of the tissue, which protects the tissue from heat damage and accelerates the recovery process without any side effects.

What is a treatment session like?

During the procedure, the INDIBA ® device glides over the treatment area in a firm but relaxing circular or linear motion. The exact frequency of 448 kHz is delivered to the treatment area with such precision that it will not damage surrounding skin tissue. The procedure should feel like a soothing warm massage.

The patented technology complements cosmetic vaginal rejuvenation treatments by helping patients recover faster and painlessly, but is also equally effective in treating vaginal, urinary, or menopause symptoms. It can be used on its own for vaginal rejuvenation and vaginal dryness treatments, urinary incontinence, or as a post-treatment to aid in recovery for vaginal surgeries.

How many treatment sessions do I need?

This sophisticated technology ensures effective treatment and smooth recovery. As a treatment tool, INDIBA helps to improve vaginal muscle tone, mucosa vascularisation and hydration with no pain and zero downtime.

For best results, you are recommended to undergo 2 sessions per month for 5 consecutive months. Within the first 3 sessions, you should observe an overall improvement in the shape, elasticity, and hydrate of the skin tissue surrounding the vagina.

After 10 sessions, you should see improvement in the vaginal introitus closure and collagen stimulation in the vagina.

Who is vaginal rejuvenation for?

Women seeking vaginal rejuvenation generally fall into three groups:

  • The first group of women believe these procedures will enhance sexual response;
  • The second group of women pursue these procedures for purely cosmetic reasons i.e. women who are not pleased with the way their vagina looks and want to change it;
  • The third group of women opt for these procedures to address pelvic floor problems – usually post-childbirth – and they want to “tighten” or “revirginise” their vaginas.

Apart from the groups identified above, other women may choose to undergo vaginal rejuvenation treatment due to medical issues they were born with that affect the development of the vagina, as well as those who have undergone radiation therapy or surgery to treat cancer or other conditions.

Who should consider vaginal rejuvenation?

Considering that vaginal rejuvenation can be used to address a range of issues, the first class of women that should consider vaginal rejuvenation are those with medical conditions including urinary incontinence, vaginal dryness, and menopause-related conditions.

The second class of women who can consider vaginal rejuvenation are the ones seeking cosmetic enhancements. Women who have experienced damage to the vagina as a result of childbirth or other complications, vaginal reconstruction surgery can help repair the vagina and reduce the looseness.

The one group of women who should not consider vaginal rejuvenation yet is those below the age of 18. This is because at that age, the body is still developing and it is not clear how vaginal rejuvenation would affect a young person’s vagina and sexual function.

How much does INDIBA Vaginal Rejuvenation cost in Singapore?

At BMB, vaginal rejuvenation with INDIBA starts from $600.
